These terms are an agreement between you and Alviso Labs LLC (“we”, “us”) for your use of ComicShine on the web and on iOS. By using ComicShine, you agree to them. If you use the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload and the comics you create. You give us a limited license to process them only to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for what you upload. Only use photos you have the right to use, and don’t upload images of other people without their permission. Don’t create content that is illegal, sexually exploits anyone, harasses or impersonates real people, or infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
AI-generated results
Comics are generated by AI. Results can vary and may not look exactly like the people in your photos. Please review your comics before sharing them.
Credits, plans, and payments
- Generating pages uses credits. Credits come with a subscription plan or in credit packs.
- Web purchases are processed by Stripe; in-app purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable; App Store refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no reverse engineering, scraping, automated abuse, or attempts to bypass limits or safety filters.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alviso Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; if changes are material, we’ll notify you in the product. You may stop using ComicShine and close your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, except where your local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
