This policy explains how ComicShine, provided by Alviso Labs LLC (“we”, “us”), handles your information on the web and in our iOS app.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address if you sign in with an email link, or your account identifier if you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Photos you upload: reference photos of the characters in your story.
- Your creations: stories, dialogue, character library entries, and generated comic pages.
- Purchases: your plan, credit balance, and order history. Card payments on the web are processed by Stripe; App Store purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your full card number.
- Device and usage: browser or app version, basic usage events, and crash logs, used to keep the service working.
How we use it
- To generate and store your comics
- To run your account, credits, and purchases
- To prevent abuse and fix problems
We do not use your photos or comics to train AI models, we do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- AI model providers that generate images on our behalf. They process your inputs only to return results to us and may not use them for training.
- Infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, and email delivery.
- Payment processors (Stripe, Apple) to complete purchases.
- Legal requirements, only in response to valid legal process.
Your photos and other people
Only upload photos you have the right to use. If you upload photos of other people, make sure they are okay with it. Anyone who believes their image has been used without permission can contact us and we will review and remove it.
How long we keep it
Your photos and comics are kept until you delete them or close your account. When you close your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) by law.
Your rights
You can access, download, and delete your creations in the app, and close your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information — email us and we’ll help.
Children
ComicShine is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We’ll post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in the product.
